My favorite VPN service hands down is Goldenfrog’s Vypr VPN. I’ve used it for years and it just gets better and better. Because these guys have so many servers all over the globe, I use it to test GEO-targeted banners and landing pages. Scroll to the bottom of the page to see all global Vypr VPN servers you can connect to right now. For example, if I want to make sure a German-specific ad or join page works properly, I simply connect to one of the Vypr VPN servers in Germany. I get a German IP with which I can test just like if I was located in Germany. Vypr VPN has servers in many different countries, which is incredibly handy for testing, and they keep adding more.
I also recommend this VPN service if you are traveling. While I personally think it’s stupid to access adult sites while located in a country that specifically prohibits such content, if you happen to work in adult and need to do get stuff done right away, using the next closest VyprVPN server to access your site might be your best bet. Their “Chameleon” feature actually cloaks your IP further so not even the ISP you’re connected to knows you’re on a VPN. Again, I recommend you do this if you need to access from a location that bans whatever it is you’re accessing. If you’re in a country that thinks free speech is lame, or are on any kind of public network (airports, etc), just stay connected to a Vypr VPN server the entire time.
Installation is super easy – you download their app to your Windows, Mac, or mobile device and follow the simple instructions. After that you’re always just a few clicks away from connecting to protected VPN servers all over the world. I’ve been recommending Vypr VPN for so long and to so many people, I now joined as an affiliate to cash in on some of my word of mouth. I don’t care if you click my affiliate link for Vypr VPN or just type in their URL directly but if you click the links here you’ll get a discount. So there’s that.
I’ve tested a few VPNs and Vypr has been the fastest so far. I also like that you can choose your level of security/encryption. But I LOVE how many servers they have all over the world. What I don’t love is that you can only have between 2 and 3 concurrent connections (depending on your plan), although this should be enough for most of you.
I remember when using a VPN meant configuring ports and jump through all sorts of hurdles. Usually you got 1 or 2 servers, and that’s that, so things were slow. All that’s over, Vypr VPN is super easy to use, very fast, and has a lot of neat options if you want them. Give it a try.
